You seem to be travelling a lot, is there a place you like particularly much?

I used to live in northern Italy in Torri del Benaco by the lake of Garda for several years. I just love Italy, the people, the food, the language, just everything For the past years I’ve visited Sicily several times, a fascinating Island that I love. India is also one of my favorite destinations.

How did you start taking pictures in the first place?

I started taking pictures at the age of six being the family photographer. I’ve always been interested in photography and when  I received my first camera (a Canon) on my 16th birthday I started taking photography seriously.

Is there a place you would like to visit, but haven’t managed yet?

I’d like to visit Cuba and travel across the USA.

Are there some artists you admire?

I admire travel photographers like: Steve McCurry, Joakim Eskildsen and Alex Webb. Also Stephen Shore, Fred Herzog and classic photographers like Henri Cartier-Bresson, Atget, Robert Frank and Robert Doisneau.

What does photography mean to you?

Photography is the most important aspect of my life and it allows me to show people the world through my eyes. I’m into film photography. Not keen on digital photography.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I spend all my free time taking photos.
