LONDON: Wednesday 8th June 2016. British label 8DIX (pronounced Otto Dix, like the artist) is created by designer duo Luca Marchetto and Jordan Bowen. The 8DIX brand is a vehicle for their political statements, personal views, and character-led design and the duo execute their work for 8DIX with authenticity and irreverence.
The ready to wear premium collection is handmade in London, with fabrics primarily sourced from Italy and the key pieces within the range are the ‘Happy Knees’ jeans, which come in black, white, and a multi-paint splash colourway, taking the drawn on denim trend to another level. With denim being the go-to fabric for 2016, this fun design offers an alternative approach. The jeans are available now priced at £65 .00.
Named after historic artist Otto Dix, 8DIX explores political and artistic inspirations to capture the essence in Otto Dix’s artwork. Founded by designers Jordan Bowen and Luca Marchetto, the brand aims to be current and relevant, representing society as they see it. 8DIX’s creativity has led to them opening Berlin Alternative Fashion Week and being recognised as a key player in the alternative fashion industry. 8DIX captures a subversive collaboration between art and fashion and do not use any fur or leather products.
