LONDON: Tuesday 21st June 2016. This season sees BOY London launch a distinctive black and white collection, going back to the brand’s roots during the celebratory year of its 40th anniversary. The pieces incorporate punk inspired designs but updated in casual, modern monochrome looks. Each individual piece has a unique story and design, from the archived 1990s ‘drip’ logo marked across the t-shirt and sweatshirt lines, to the hero bomber jacket with embroidered emblem reading ‘The Strength of the Country Lies in it’s Youth – Since 1976’. Another statement style includes the long line black mac coat, which references the 1976 birth of the brand, synonymous also with the beginning of the punk movement.
Prices range from £35.00 for accessories, to outerwear at £165.00 and the collection encourages unisex styling. BOY London will be continuing their 40th year anniversary celebrations, coinciding with the 40th anniversary of the punk movement, with several activations and product launches planned throughout 2016.
